Senior Financial Services Representative, Registered Representative
Buster is a Senior Financial Services Representative in the St Peter office of the Minnesota Business Center of the Principal Financial Group. He is a Registered Representative with Princor Financial Services Corporation. Buster joined our company in 1975 after graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College and working as an agent for four years. His professional activities include teaching industry courses and holding leadership positions in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Southern Minnesota Chapter and the Society of Financial Service Professionals, serving as President of both organizations. Active in his community, Buster has been a member of the Cleveland School Board, president of the St. Peter Lions Club, St. Peter United Way and the German-Jefferson Sportsman Club, Cub master with the Cub Scouts and is a member of the St. Peter Area Chamber of Commerce. Buster is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He has been recognized as the Outstanding Young Businessman in St. Peter. In 1993, he was inducted into the Gustavus Adolphus College Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2006 Buster received the coveted Orris M. Johnson Memorial Award from NAIFA Southern Minnesota. "This award is given to a member who has established a pattern of representing the finest type of individual in all dimensions of his living and a person who consistently has brought honor and respect to our industry and community."
Joan Flad Kaiser, LUTCF

Joan is a Senior Financial Services Representative with Principal Life Insurance Company and a Registered Representative with Princor Financial Services Corporation. She has B.S. and M.S. degrees from Minnesota State University-Mankato. Joan has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years after 17 years of teaching in the St. Peter and Nicollet Schools. She is a native of the Mankato area and is active in the community. Community volunteer activities are important to Joan and have included the board of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Southern Minnesota, the South Central Technical College Foundation Executive Board, Leadership Mankato, Greater Mankato Cavalier Chair, Women Executives in Business Board, Professional Development Association Board and Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union Board. The Greater Mankato Chamber Cavaliers, Women Executives in Business (WEB) and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) are among her current community activities. Joan provides products and services for people and employers who want to better manage their insurance and investments. She has special expertise in individual and group retirement plans. She is also adept at assisting people with long term care plans that help protect the retirement benefits. Her mission is to help people take charge of their insurance and investments. Many people don't get around to putting together a strategy and even if they have one in mind, often they haven't implemented it or updated it. Most people want someone they can trust to listen to their concerns and to help them create a strategy, put it into action and monitor it. Joan considers is her job to be there through this whole process.
